I've spent the better part of today organizing stuff. From clothes and shoes to books and business tools, I delight in being organized because it saves me time (no searching to find stuff when you need it) and mental energy (no beating myself up for being messy and losing valuable time searching for stuff that isn't where it's supposed to be).
While I'm fairly well organized most of the time, the last months of the year would indicate otherwise. 2015 was a busy year (happily so!) and the last couple of months kept me on my toes from morning until late into the evening. At the end of December, after my last order was delivered, I looked around at my home and my studio and both were in a state of chaos.
Yet for as much as I dislike clutter, I find it so frustratingly easy to create! Clutter and disorganization make me really, really unhappy and with my 2016 focus being squarely on creating and celebrating joy, I rolled up my sleeves, put on some great music, and gave myself a good dose of the stuff in the form of getting organized.
