Herkimer "Diamond" Ring
Herkimer diamonds are a really beautiful species of quartz and the ones I gravitate to have a lot of natural inclusions or flaws. The fact that they're double-ended (or terminated) crystals that come from Herkimer County, New York, makes me love them more: they're self contained whole crystals and the fact that they can be locally sourced is an added bonus. For this ring, I've kept the design intentionally simple with a four-prong setting to show off the stone. No two Herkimers are identical so each ring is unique.
